Counterfactual book publishing
I have too many ideas for books – more than I will ever be able to write – so sometimes I just create the cover and post it to Instagram.
Some of these ideas for books are clever and/or funny. You are clever and funny, and so might enjoy them. The problem is that you have to zoom in on the covers and think about them. This makes them totally inappropriate for social media.

Purging myself of stuff
I decided that I have too much stuff. We all do. I know you have too many things. So I decided to get rid of a 100 items and post each one on Instagram letting people know why I was getting rid of that thing.
When I was done I wanted to make a little book about it. As the book adds an item I had to revise the number of things I gave away or threw in the trash to 101.

You don’t have to read the whole book to have opinions
I made some YouTube videos where I talk about interesting things I’ve found in books. I don’t review books (that would be boring and too much work), instead I riff on something that grabbed my attention and which I think other people would like to hear about.
